I call this card  "Anticipation" because so many young children will be going to their very first day of school and riding that yellow school bus. Some will have different levels of anticipation when they wake up in the morning, some anxious, some with fear and tears...either way they soon get over it, right? This week at the , the theme is to make a "Back to School" card. The little story above is what came to mind when making this card.
*Ruler Pattern Paper - Recollection "All Season" stack.
*School Sign - Cricut image cut from the "Stretch Your Imagination" cartridge. The word "school" is also cut out at the same time as the sign, to make one solid piece. The sentiment was also written on the sign with my Explore.
*Bus - Also from the "Stretch Your Imagination" cartridge. Cut and layered in gray, yellow and black cardstock. Popped the bus with 3-D squares.
*Smiley Face - Is a sticker I had in my embellishments box.

Thank you for following TurtleBug's Trail!
