Viva Le Verve

This is a card I made from this week"s very nice sketch at http://vlvsketches.blogspot.com/  that is designed by Maureen.
I have had this digi for a while and not sure who it is created by, sorry. I used water color pencils, which is pretty much all I use when coloring digis/stamps. I am awful when it comes to coloring. I added black Enamel Accents to the "nobby" at the top of the umbrella and to the slicker buttons for depth. I used a Gelly Roll Clear Glitter pen on the raindrops and water puddles. The circles are cut with Spellbinders. The clouds are 'sticko" by EK Success, the butterfly I added tine gems and it is a punch cut. The flower I bought at a fabric outlet store and is made of wire and mesh with yellow gems added on top. The sentiment I wrote on my Explore with a Cricut Explore pen in" Blueberry".

cardz4guys

This week at http://cardz4guyz.blogspot.com/ were are to create cards using anything with the "Letter A".  With Mother's Day right around the corner comes children making their First Holy Communion. I wanted to use "Angels" to represent something with the Letter "A" on my card, I decided to make a card showing a boy making his First Holy Communion.
The photo is a computer download and I used a Gelly Roll pen in Gold ink on the Angels flower crowns,  the sentiments are written on a 6.50" X 5" cream colored blank card by Recollections using my Explore and Systems Font feature . I added a metal cross and metal Dove brads, the embossed straight lines along the left and right sides of the card I created by scoring them on my Martha Stewart Scoring Board.

Tuesday Morning Sketches

I used this week's sketch http://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/ to create my card which is designed by Jessi Fogan. I love the simplicity of the sketch and decided to also use it for the theme at Merry Monday challenge.
I downloaded the sheet music to the song, cut out bells on the Explore and added silver glitter and silver metallic cardstock behind the "holes" of the bells. Wrote out the sentiment also on the Explore and added satin ribbon & bow to the tag.

Merry Monday

This week at http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/ challenge we are to make a card using our favorite Christmas Carol. I have a few favorites, but "Jingle Bells" is one I really love because, around Christmas time when riding around with the grandchildren in the car,  this is one my Hubby and I always enjoy singing along with them....."oh what fun"!!

Merry Monday

Here is my card for this week's challenge at http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/ . We are to use a church on our Christmas themed card. My sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches. I think it worked out very well for each challenge.
Church Scene - Computer downloaded and cut and matted with chipboard using  a scalloped Spellbinder die.
Papers - Base card is Navy Blue cardstock, pattern paper is from the Recollections "All Season" stack. Panels are white cardstock matted with the same Navy Blue.
Corners - Are cut with a mini metal die.
Embossing - Is a Provo Craft "Hounds Tooth" folder.
I "glistened" all the snow, trees, church and fence posts with a Gelly Clear Glitter pen.

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Another great sketch by Debbie Foster at http://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/ this week. I really dug into my Scrap Box for this card and used scraps for all the solid colors. Except, the card base is kraft paper cardstock and the pattern design one is Recollections "Bright & Basic 6X6" stack. The scallop cut is a Spellbinder die and the oval is cut, and written on my Explore. which I added chipboard to the back. I added gold metallic thread edged gunny sack ribbon and dark brown glitter dots.
