This card is
inspired by the sketch this week at
Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2
I started with
matting a white base card with dark brown cardstock...
* Pattern Paper
- From Michael's single sheet rack.* Strips - Are
plain yellow card stock. I added Happy B'day printed ribbon to the bottom
strip. Addedgreen Brads, for the tassel I used yarn.
* Embossing -
Provo Craft "Spots & Dots" folder
* Image &
Musical Note - Are stamps from a set by Recollections called "Jammin'
Animals".
*Lion Image - I
used water color pencils to color the image. I used a Septum Noir
"Silver" glitter pen on the maracas center for bling. I cut out a
small circle from a yellow Pom-pom to create a fuzzy Lion tail. Added googily
eyes, and used a Gelly roll pen in gold to color the musical note.
* Ovals - I used three sizes from the
Cottage Cutz "Ovals" set.
SORRY! Don't know why the font size
is showing up so small. Yet, the last part I entered at the bottom of the post
turned out right...go figure. Maybe it will correct it's self back.
