Male Sympathy Card

I know...male cards are so hard to make. But, a male sympathy card...way harder. This is my first  attempt in making one, so here goes...
Started with a white base card and matted with dark brown cardstock.
* Corners - A very old corner punch gifted to me, sorry no name on it.
* Embossing - I used a Cuttlebug Anna Griffin "Matelassé" folder on a beige panel.
* Sentiment - Close to My Heart Sincere Expressions acrylic stamp from the "Occasions" set. The light square is a heavy cardstock with brown and gold foil speckles in it.
* Flowers - The Paper Studio Spare-Parts "Burlap Beads Flowers" pack.
* Side Strip - I went with a piece of Jute twine instead to match the flowers.

Weby Halloween Pumpkin

HAPPY HALLOWEEN, EVERYONE!
Okay...my last Halloween card for this year. This card I created for this week's Feeling Sketchy Challenge which is perfect for my theme. It was a very fun sketch to work with.
**Pattern Paper - Recollections "All Season" stack.
**Ribbon - From Michael's Craft Store
**Pumpkin - Is a glittered wooden pumpkin. I added a "glowy" piece of  color cardstock to the back of it to give it a candle-like effect.
** I "borrowed" some spider webbing from my outdoor Halloween decorations to add to the pumpkin.
**Added orange, black and purple buttons with embroidery thread.

Sweetie Bear

This card is made using the sketch for this week the "Stella Says Sketch" challenge.  I was so undecided as to what to use for the circles on the sketch. Being a Baby card I first went with buttons, then I thought of a Baby Bear border but I didn't want them all in a row...so, here it is...balloons!
Striped Pattern Paper - From my single sheets box. I distressed the card's edges all around with my CTMH distressing tool...two sides don't show up too much. :( :(
Sentiment - Computer-generated using the Baby Muffins font.
Bear Image - Is a "My Scrap Chick" image. It is an SVG, but I printed it from the computer as an image, instead. I added a star-shaped gem to the ribbon, and used a clear glitter Septum Noir pen on the popped corner star and the bear's scarf.
Balloons - Is a Cricut cartridge image, cut on the Explore.
Embossing - Are from assorted Cuttlebug and Darice folders.

**Poem - Computer download. Sorry, no name to give credit to. :(
**Pumpkin Pattern Paper - Piece from my Scrap box.
**Pumpkins - Are metal Brads.
**Strip - Plain black cardstock embossed with a Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" folder. Added pumpkin themed ribbon.

Purple Bouquet

I created this card for the sketch at the Feeling Sketchy Challenge for this week. It was a challenge for me alright! I couldn't figure out how to make the half moon cut at the bottom. I of course, went the long way about it. I should have just cut a circle in half and be done, but nooooo, not me. I went to the kitchen and got a bowl to trace the edge of it onto the card base. Anyway, I still enjoyed creating this card and am happy with the results.
**Paper Patterns - All are from the DCWV "Midnight Berry" stack and it has some of the prettiest cardstock of all the stacks I have...love it! The pattern I used has a lot of pretty gold foil accents in it.
**Frame - The "Midnight Berry" stack has a couple of pages at the end that have an assortment of frames you can cut out to stamp your sentiments on. These frames match all the cardstock patterns in the stack.
**Stamp - I have had for a while, sorry no name. I used my "Stamp Perfect" positioning tool to make sure I stamped it exactly where I wanted it. My dear sister-in-law gifted this item to me, I sure enjoy using this tool.
**Flower Bunches - From a pack from EK Success "Jolee's Boutique".
**Frame Corners - Used a Fiskar 3-in-one corner punch.
**Embossing - I embossed the half moon cut with a Cuttlebug "Chicken Wire" folder.

Pumpkin Patch Time

My first Halloween card for this year and it is all about pumpkins! Except for a few cuts I made on my Cricut, it all came together fairly quick. I started with a pre-made 6.50x5.00" black card base (even has a matching black envelope), scary , huh!? :) :)
**Pumpkin Pattern Paper - Recollections "All Season" stack. The color of the paper pattern starts a deep color and as you get to the halfway mark the pumpkins get this "foggy" look to it. Kind of creepy. Love this stack, has assorted papers for all the seasons and holidays.
**Strip - I put it together using scraps in orange and black.
**Circles and Banner - Were all cut on my Explore. First I cut out the bottom circles from gold foil cardstock and then layered black circles cut from regular cardstock on top, using the "Shapes" button on the Explore.
**Pumpkins - Are from a set of assorted Halloween "Wiggle Eye" stickers I have had for a while. The banner is cut on Explore using the "Close to My Heart" cartridge. The "Happy Halloween" is from a collection of chipboard sentiments included in the "Wiggly Eyes" package.

Embossed Butterflies

I made this card for the sketch challenge this week at http://sweetsketchwednesday2.blogspot.com/ .
I really like the way it turned out.
**Cardstock - All are from the DCWV "French Country" stack, I love this stack. All the stack consist of heavy cardstock, most designs with shine or sparkle to them.
**Ovals - Are from a Cottage Kutz set.
**Embossed Oval - "Butterfly" folder by Darice. I used a Septum Noir glitter pen all over the butterflies for some sparkle.
**Sentiment - Again, a die from the Cottage Kutz oval set. "Best Wishes" is computer-generated. I matted both ovals with chipboard for 3-D effect.
Added pearls to finish out the card.

Chinese Pavilion

I have a friend taking a trip to China and I made this card to give him to wish him a safe and enjoyable trip. The image is of a Chinese Pavilion, of which there are many and are found in many of China's parks and gardens. They are used for shade and rest, maybe he will find this exact same one on his trip to take a rest from sightseeing.
Image - Computer download, matted on plain black cardstock.
Flowers - Cut on Cricut using an image from the "Gypsy Wanderings" cartridge. Flowers are cut from plain pink cardstock, and matted on white cardstock, then I brushed them with clear glitter Septum Noir pen for sparkle, added pearls to centers.
Embossing - Cuttlebug "Leafy Branch" folder.
Ribbon - Black with silver metallic threading.
