Over at http://cagichallenge.blogspot.ca/ this week we are to make our own background paper! This is quite the challenge for me since I have never made my own paper before. I looked at a lot of techniques on Utube and decided to try the "smooching" technique using water colors.
Paper - I used Simply Art Watercolor Paper by LoewCornell and regular water color paints in pink and lavender. The color combos are endless. It is a very simple technique where you put the color on a piece of acetate, spray it and you put it over the water color or cardstock paper and the you drag it off and use heat to help it dry faster. The color combos are endless. Easy and fun to do!
I embossed the circle and used a Verve stamp for the sentiment. The flower is premade and the leaves are a Sizzix die cut. The corners are by My Little Paper World
