Tuesday Morning Sketches
To create this card I combined this week's very nice sketch by Melissa Craig athttp://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/ and the Color challenge by Sue Joyce at http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/ which is to use the colors Silver, Gray, Black and White. The background is embossed in white cardstock with a "Holly" embossing folder by Provo Craft, The sentiment is written on my Explore using a font from my computer System Fonts and printed out on my Explore, as were all the circles. The ornament/snowflake (embossing folder by Darice) and the star (mini embossing folder by Provo Craft) are embossed on Silver Metallic Foil cardstock by ACSpecialty Paper foil stack. Never used the color black on a Christmas-themed card before, but I think the little bit of black matting gave it an elegant touch with the metallic silver cardstock. The gray cardstock has a very pretty shimmer to it, also.
