CASology
This is a card I made for the challenge at http://casology.blogspot.com/ this week. The Cue Card is "Distress" to inspire our creations. This is my first time working with color paints on watercolor paper when making a card. I used a paint brush to create the strokes of colors, when it dried I used a nail file on the coarse side and rubbed it across the watercolor paint for depth. I wrote and printed the sentiment on my Explore and added a puffy Turtle embellishment from a "Kids" pack by Recollections at Michael's. I used a CTMH distress tool around the edges of the paper for a distressed look. Oops!! Sorry for the bad photo. It was late at night, trying to beat the deadline and did not have good lighting.
Tuesday Morning Sketches
This card I created from this week's sketch at http://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/ The sketch has a square center, but I used a Spellbinder for a scalloped oval instead. The dancing couple is a "dearie dolls" digi stamp. I used water color pencils to color it and used a Gelly roll clear glitter pen on this shirt, her collar, some on the Poodle and on the bow on her tail....did not show up very well, but it does add a nice sparkle to the card. I cut the tag and wrote the sentiment on the Explore machine, added black brads at the ends of the tag. The sheet music "Rock Around the Clock" I downloaded from the Internet.

Tag You're It!
Here is the inspiration tag created by Design Team Member Kara Lynn at http://tagyoureitchallenge.blogspot.com/.
I drew my inspiration from the cute critters she used on her tag. I love critters on cards, tags, projects, most anything. They add so much joy to the creations.
I found this cute little feller image on the internet under images (sorry, no name to give credit to).I am not into coloring like some of the ladies that color these awesome cards...All I use is water color pencils and used them here to color my little mouse. The clouds and tiny tufts of grass are stamps from the "Dreams & Dragons" set by Stamping Up. The sentiment is computer-generated, the raindrops are from Jolee's by You "Waterdrops".

Double "D" Challenges
Here is my Red & White (with a splash of blue, sorry!) card for the Red and White Challenge at http://daranddiane.blogspot.com/ .
Design Paper is from Recollections "All Seasons" stack. Embossing is a Provo Craft "Stars" folder. I designed the whole card on my Explore and it printed the sentiment, cut out the star and the white panel. The blue under the star is cut from a piece if very pretty shimmery cardstock. Think I will save this one to give to my Sailor grandson.....hopefully in three more years, after him being in the Navy for twelve years!

Tuesday Morning Sketches
Hi Everyone!
Loving this vey nice sketch for this week provided for us at http://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/ by the very talented Design Team member Debbie Foster. I had started making this card in soft pink and beige colors for it to be a Get Well card, when I received a call that my dear cousin's husband had passed away, and my card soon became a sympathy card to send to my cousin and family in Los Angeles. I know she will find comfort in receiving it.
Pink Design Paper - Single sheet rack at Michael's
Embossing - "Birds and Swirls" by Provo Craft
Leaves - Sizzix "Branch & Leaves" die cut
Rose - From a "Paper Flowers" pack from Michael's
Scalloped Circle - Spellbinder
Sentiment - CTMH acrylic stamp from "4 My Friend" sentiments collection.

Merry Monday Christmas Challenge
Hi!
Another great challenge at http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/ This week we are to use "Berries" on our cards. I was surprised to find this pretty Berries design paper in my stash, a Berries tag and some Berries ribbon....so, off I went and came up with this berries, berries and more berries card....hope it isn't berries overkill! I added a dot of Gelly Roll pen Clear Glitter to the centers of all the berries and all the embossed Swiss Dots for sparkle. Can't be seen very well, but it's there!
Berries Pattern Paper - From DCWV single sheet rack at Hobby Lobby
Embossing - Provo "Swiss Dots" and Provo "Holly" folders
Tag and Ribbon - Michael's "Celebrate It" Christmas products
Circle is matted with a chipboard circle, sentiment is computer-generated and embossed.

CASology
CASology
Eggs, Eggs, and More Eggs!
Over at http://casology.blogspot.com/ our Cue Card for the week is to design a card with an "Egg". I was going to use the whole dozen but being that we are also to keep it CAS, I only used one!
The egg is a cut from an Explore cartridge with out the matting in the back. I wanted the same pretty blue to show through on the design. To make the egg "egg-xtra special" I used glitter cardstock to cut from. I also wrote the sentiment on Explore using a Cricut pen. The font is "Just Coles Cursive" from Da font.

Happy Monday!
Hello,
I was without Internet service over the week-end and missed the deadlines at Merry Monday and Tuesday Morning Card Sketches (sob!, sob!!). Since I had my cards all done but unable to post in time, I would still like to at least share my cards with everyone.

Merry Monday
......Oops! I filed my card away too soon and forgot to post my card for last week at http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/ Even though I missed the deadline I would still like to share it with you. The challenge was to use dear old Santa on the card. The image I used is cut from an old Christmas card (I love using images from old greeting cards and calendars). I like the way this card turned out.

Tag You're It!
My tag for this week at http://tagyoureitchallenge.blogspot.com/ is inspired from Design Team member Jen. The "I Love You" sentiment is the first thing I noticed on the tag and it brought my grandchildren to mind right away. We always end our phone conversations and our good-bys with a hug, kiss and an "I love you". Of course I love them..."to the moon and back!".
Jen's Tag
Jen's Tag
This is my Tag
The frame, stars and moon were all cut with a cartridge from my Explore in pink cardstock, then layered in yellow cardstock. I typed the sentiment on my Explore then welded a square box to the sentiment for the Explore to write it on. I added very fine silver glitter to the large stars, and added smaller silver metallic stars that unfortunately look black on the tag.

CASology
Thanks for stopping by...today I am sharing my card for this week's challenge at http://casology.blogspot.com/. The theme for Challenge #183 is all about glitter! With Valentine’s Day coming up soon I thought a sparkling bright red glitter heart and smaller ones would make a perfect card.
* Heart Border - I cut off 1" of the right side of the front card and used my Martha Stewart heart border punch to cut out a red strip of hearts at 1/2", added a thin strip of satin ribbon where the heart strip and the front of the card meet and glued the ribbon underneath the heart strip. The white that shows under the heart strip is actually the back part of the card.
* Heart - Is an image I cut with my Explore, added plenty of glue and drowned the poor heart with glitter and allowed to dry completely. I used Glue Dots to pop it for depth.
*Sentiment - Is an old rubber stamp from Michael's Craft Store, inked using red Stazon stamp ink.
