Double "D" Challenge
Over at http://daranddiane.blogspot.com/ this week the theme is "Brrrrr": A Winter Time Scene!" to go with this very cold spell we have been experiencing lately. We have four images to inspire us, I picked 'Skates". The Snowman image is a download and the circles are cut with Spellbinders. I used a Gelly Roll clear star pen on the skate's blades and on the falling snow. On the tree star I used a gold Gelly Roll pen. Pine tree branches, from a Martha Stewart punch, I added at the bottom of the strings of embroidery threads. The sentiment is computer-generated, matted and popped with Glue Dots for depth. Now that I look at my finished card.... I see I actually used TWO themes, "Skates" and "Snowman".... two for one, yay!

Tuesday Morning Sketches
This week at http://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/ sketch #336 is a very fun and quick sketch to make, this is my interpretation of the sketch. The Happy B'day and Birdie stamps are from CTMH, stamped using Teal ink by Craftsmart. The butterfly is a paper embellishment from a set called "Songs of Spring" from Michael's. The background pattern sparkle cardstock is called "Quilted Garden" by the Ayussa's Garden stack from Cloud 9 Design. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder called "Birds & Leaves from Provo Craft.

Tag You're It!
The tag that inspired me for this challenge this week is Erin's.
I saw it as a mode of travel and everyone has used a school bus at least once, right?! Here is my tag I created over at http://tagyoureitchallenge.blogspot.com/. The layered school bus, tag and sentiment are all cut and written on my Explore. How do you like my little Smiley friend in the corner? Cute, huh?!

CASology
Hello,
I made this card for the challenge at http://casology.blogspot.com/. The theme is "Adore" and this is my card the Designers cards inspired me to create. The eyes are computer-generated and the sentiment I printed on the Explore. I inked the edges of the card with some Stazon stamp ink for some depth. I used a Fiskar corner punch on the corners. Be sure to check out this fun challenge at the above link!

Retro Sketches
This card is a sketch from Retro Sketches Challenge, I really liked the sketch and this is what I came up with. Phone is a rubber stamp, white panel is a CuttleBug "Script" folder. The "Speech" bubble pattern paper is from the "Darling Dear" paper pad by Studio Calico. Pretty happy with the way it turned out!

Hello!
Welcome to my Blog, I am sharing my entry card at this week's http://casology.blogspot.com/ challenge. We are to think "Clear" as our inspiration for our theme.
I made a square shaker card with an acetate "window" and added a present cut from a Cricut cartridge. The "celebrate" is a Stampin' Up! acrylic stamp from the "Endless Birthday Wishes" set. I used a glittery pattern paper from the DCWV "Romantic" stack and added assorted color glitter to the inside. The stick-on butterfly and small flowers are StickerDoodles from Colorbok.

Hello,
This is the card I made for "Winter Wonderland" for this week's challenge. All the cheerleading details are glittery stick-ons from K&Company called "Sparkly Sweet", except the sentiment, ribbon and bow. I printed and cut the sentiment on the Explore on plain cardstock. The background is from me&my BIG ideas, #1 Fan" stack. I hand drew "stars" randomly to the background with a Gelly Roll clear glitter pen. The bow I made with a blue and metallic thread ribbon.

Hello,
I created this card to send some warm winter greetings to my family in COLD Minnesota and rub it in about our awesome weather here in Tucson, AZ. The front panel is embossed with a Provo Craft folder called "Trees" using plain white cardstock and matted with green. The sentiment is written using a Cricut writing pen in "Sour Apple" on my Explore. I dotted the treetops with Crayola Metallic marker and dotted with a "Clear Star " Gelly Roll pen for sparkle. I also used some "Clear Star" to dot the letters "i" in the sentiment.
